<p>This article explores the potential of digital interfaces and UX design as tools that contribute to the formation of sustainable ecological behavior among users, particularly related to waste management and reducing environmental impact. Based on an analysis of empirical studies on mobile and web applications for sustainable consumption and waste recycling, it is shown that the use of behavioral strategies, self-tracking, result visualization, and gamified elements correlates with increased motivation, perceived effectiveness, and sustained engagement. The article concludes that UX design can act as a mediator between users’ ecological intentions and actual behavioral practices.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>UX-дизайн</kwd><kwd>цифровые экосистемы</kwd><kwd>устойчивое поведение</kwd><kwd>управление отходами</kwd><kwd>persuasive apps</kwd><kwd>поведенческий дизайн</kwd><kwd>цифровая экология</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>UX design</kwd><kwd>digital ecosystems</kwd><kwd>sustainable behavior</kwd><kwd>waste management</kwd><kwd>persuasive apps</kwd><kwd>behavioral design</kwd><kwd>digital ecology</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Nkwo M., Suruliraj B., Orji R.
