Статья посвящена рассмотрению термина «великое расхождение» и его трактовкам, предложенным основными представителями исторической социологии. В статье рассматриваются определения данного научного понятия, вскрываются идеи основных исторических социологов, предложивших свои критерии для измерения причин, условий и критериев возникновения и развития изучаемого феномена в эпоху промышленной революции и первичной модернизации в экономике и в обществе. В итоге представлены дискуссионные точки зрения о феномене «великое расхождение».

The article is devoted to the consideration of the term “great divergence” and its interpretations proposed by the main representatives of historical sociology. The article examines the definitions of this scientific concept, reveals the ideas of the main historical sociologists who proposed their criteria for measuring the causes, conditions and criteria for the emergence and development of the phenomenon under study during the era of the industrial revolution and primary modernization in the economy and society. As a result, controversial points of view about the “great divergence” phenomenon are presented.
